Game Review: PokeMMO

I am so sorry I haven't updated here in 5 months. I can't believe how quickly those months went by and I hadn't written a word on here. Anyway, I decided the first post for this year would be a Pokemon one. Pokemon is one of my childhood loves. I love Pokemon still to this very day and that is why I am so happy to have found PokeMMO.

PokeMMO is basically an ordinary Pokemon game you would play on a gameboy or DS but it is online with other people playing the same time as you. It is every Pokefanatics dream, an online multiplayer Pokemon game.

All you have to do to get started is to go on this website, http://pokemmo.eu/downloads/ and make an account and download the game. You can also find the Pokemon Fire Red ROM you would need right here. Just download the ROM and put it in the roms folder in the PokeMMO folder you just downloaded, then load up the game and play away.

If you are still having trouble downloading the game, this video should help you.

If any of you guys want to add me on here, my name is Cherebi and I am usually on Channel 1. I would love to talk to you guys and battle and go on Pokemon adventures with you all.

Triple Town - Game Review

So I decided it would be a good idea to start reviewing facebook/google+/ios/android games so people know what good games are to play when they're bored or out and about and want something fun to do. To start off this new review section, I decided I would review Triple Town.

My friend showed me this game a couple of weeks ago while we were waiting for class to start in college. It looked fun and seemed to amuse both of us while waiting around. Since I don't actually have a proper phone that can play games I was happy to discover that this game is also on facebook and google+. Basically all you have to do in this game is to make the best town possible before running out of space. To make bigger and better things you have to match three items that are the same. For example three grass items next to each other will make a bush., three bush items will make a tree, three tree items will make a house etc.

Here is a picture to help you understand.

The game isn't as easy as it sounds though. While playing you will come across bears that can block where you want to place your items and ninja bears that teleport to different places in your town so it is hard to tell where they will go next. To get rid of these bears, you simply have to make sure they can no longer move and then they will turn into gravestone. Three gravestones makes a church and so on. Ninja bears are harder to trap but there are items that can help you along in the game.

This game is super fun but can get annoying when you have no moves left. Yes, sadly this is one of those games where you have to wait a certain amount of time to get more moves to play. The company who made Triple Town did add a feature where you can buy unlimited moves however. So, If you are bored in your spare time and want something to do, this is the perfect little game for you.

Review: First Look at Kingdom Hearts 3DS

So I have played little over two hours of the new 3DS game, Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance and so far it is a wonderful game. In the game you play as main heroes Sora and Riku, travelling around various Disney related world in order to help them be cleared of evil being called heartless (and new dream eaters).

So far I have cleared Traverse Town and I am currently in La Cite des Cloches with both Sora and Riku. The only feature of the game which I have to admit that I am not a fan of is the time limit on the drop feature, meaning you only have a selected amount of time before you are forced to play as another character. This feature does mean that you have equal time playing as both characters but is annoying if it run out during a boss battle.

Overall, if you are a Kingdom Hearts fan that this game is a must, even if you haven't played any other titles like re:coded and 358/2 days.

Review: The Dark Knight Rises

I saw The Dark Knight Rises today and it beat The Dark Knight in so many ways. It was amazing. Bane physically scares the life out of me, his voice scared me and his mask thing. It was just amazing. I can't wait for it to come out on DVD so I can watch it again.

The Dark Knight has always been one of my favourite films ever since I first saw it. I loved how amazing Heath Ledger (rip <3) acted as the Joker and how tense and thrilling the storyline was. However The Dark Knight Rises was double the intensity and I am amazed at how well made the film was. I can say that this may have become my top favourite film. I have never been physically scared of a character before, as soon as I heard Bane talk, he scared me. I heard many people said that they thought Bane's voice was gimmicky and tacky but it really made the character stand out more.

If you have seen the previous two films of this trilogy then you have to check this one out. It may not be as good as the second film in some people's opinion but it truly is fantastic and a great way to finish a fantastic and wonderful trilogy.

Today I also bought the new Kingdom Hearts game for 3DS, Dream Drop Distance. I haven't had a chance to play it yet, but I will in the next few hours.
